There is little better reward in life than seeing a child develop self respect, self discipline and the will to help others through your guidance.

Uniformed adult Leaders are required to lead by example, also keeping the Scout promise and law.

Adult leaders are required to undergo training starting with a Permit Phase Course which allows them to be invested and wear uniform, followed preferably within a year with a Warrant Course. The Warrant is required to lead meetings and take Scouts on camps and outings.

The third phase is the Woodbadge. The Woodbadge is an ongoing training which begins with theoretical training and then evaluation over a period of time of the application of the leader's skills. The Woodbadge is a set of wooden beads on a leather thong which indicates that they are a properly trained Scout Adult leader.
